Unhide fields depending on workflow

Hello,

 

I was wondering if there was a way to pre-define some fields and have them hidden until the issue reaches a certain point in the workflow, where those fields will be revealed and allow the customer to fill in the new fields at a certain place in the workflow.

 

If this requires an add-on, hopefully it's something thats free/open source.....

Hi Brian,

If you're asking about from within the Service Desk portal, then no.  If you're talking about a Jira software or business project, than yes.  You can define screens as part of the workflow transition and even make those fields mandatory.

Extension for Jira Service Desk does provide bundled fields, smart forms.  But that would all need to be on creation.
