We need to upgrade Jira Software and Confluence to most current version.
Never performed the upgrade from CVE-2019-14994
When upgrading Jira Software to most current version is the Service Desk also upgraded to current or would it be a separate upgrade?
Is there a specific order upgrades need to be performed:
Current status:
Jira Software - 8.2.3
Jira Service Desk - 4.2.4
Confluence - 6.15.9
Thanks.
You can upgrade confluence independently of Jira, so you can do that anytime,
For Jira I would suggest upgrading jira software using the package/installer.
Then from within jira, under the administration -> Applications -> Version and licenses, you will have an option to upgrade Service Desk to match the Software installation. The process is similar to an addon install. You click the button, and jira will download and install the upgraded version of service desk.

1) Yes - you will have to separately upgrade software and service desk.
2) Looking at your current software and service desk versions - you can directly upgrade to the latest versions - you need not follow any order.
3) After you upgrade Software - it is pretty easy to upgrade Service Desk, it is just a click effort.
