We are a development agency and have a number of different clients who either host thier sites with us or are hosted externaly i.e. amazon AWS, Pantheon etc. Each client has their own Service Desk portal they use to submit spport tickets to us.
What we'd like to do is have the client specific hosting details appear on all service desk tickets submitted by each client appear on the service request tickets so when asomeone from our team picks up the ticket he immediatly knows where the site is hosted.
Has anyone done anything like this and if so how did you configure it?
Many thanks
Yes you can do this with in the project settings ->request types -> request form.
There you can choose any field and click on "hide". Then you are prompted to pre-fill the field.
But this also means for the choosen request type the field will always be filled with those infos already. Meaning you have to somehow seperate either request types or this field for each customer.
For me this was easier since all our "phone" related request types get assigned to me anyway so I have pre-filled the "assigned to" field for phone requests with my name. Just as an example.
Thank you Kevin, we'll give this a try to see whether this will work for us
