We need to take our SD server offline in order to move the database. Currently our users only submit tickets through email (we don't use the customer portal at this time).
If tickets are sent via email during the downtime, can those be pulled into service desk once the server is brought back up?
if the emails are not processed they stay in the inbox. once JSD is back online they should be processed. I would certainly test that out to ensure it is behaving as designed.
