When i assign an issue to myself i don't get notification mail. When another users assign it then i get a mail. I want that when i assign an issue to myself, i will get a notification mail.
By default, Jira doesn't notify you of things you have done.
If you want to be notified of your changes, go into your personal settings, by clicking your initials in the top right of a Jira page (this has to be on your service desk, not the Community), then click personal settings. Scroll down and add a tick to 'You make changes to the issue'.
You will now be notified of your changes.
Hope that helps,
Regards, Liam

Hi
Have you tried the notification helper? The link below will take you to the guidance - you can use it to troubleshoot what's wrong:

Check your "personal settings" in your profile.
I suspect you have "Get email updates for issue activity when ... You make changes" turned off.
