Where can I check the Server Version I'm using?

JConstantine August 27, 2020

When I ask the support team a question I can see this:ServerVersion.png

Where can I check the Server Version I'm using? Does it mean that I have to type the Tomcat version here or is it just the Jira version?

Indeed, if you are using Server or DC, the version is very useful.  If you are on Cloud, untick the box and forget it - it's irrelevant.

To get the version on server, the easiest route is Help (blue question mark, top right) -> About. The version in there is what the question is about, as you had surmised already.

HI @JConstantine

From that I would surmise that it is the Jira version that is being asked for. While Jira is bundled with a Tomcat server, if one is adventurous, you can run whatever version you want so that isn't probably what is being asked for. Also, I think it is in context of Jira Server edition.
