export all issues from the search issues view but not display all the fields.

'export' always exports all the issues from the search.

However, you can decide if you want to export all the fields (columns) or only the visible ones (current fields).

So when you export a filtered list you have an option to export current or all fields. Correct? Are you saying that if you export all fields you don’t see all? If so,  which field are missing ? On the other hand if  you wish to limit the fields are exported and simply change the columns that are displayed.
