how to make issue type private

thomas.newton@pwc.com January 25, 2019

Hello,

We have syned AD and when a user get deactivated their account get deleted in JIRA.

I would like any user to create a JIRA ticket anonymously. Under project permission i have added Anyone group in create request. This allows all users to view a project and select issue type associated to that proejct.

However when a user select a request type  it shows all the fields associated within that project. I just want to show specific fields to a user when a specific issue type is selected. Is there any settings I can use to accomplish this?

Regards,

Dipesh

This channel is in regards to JSD and we are assuming you are using the portal. But it appears your users are submitting as JIRA users?

If not see here:

Dear thomas.newton@pwc.com,

sorry, but probably I don't get you right. You can, apart from what fields you have configured per screen, reduce/hide the set of fields shown to the customer:

Hi Thomas,

I have request type 'Unlock Account' with 2 fields. However when I click on create button and select the project and issue type to Unlock Account I get more than 2 fields.

How do i make it so when a user click 'Unlock account' it will display Summary & description fields and when a user select Service request a user will be presented with 5 fields.
