sla powerbox - sla goals - "time from field" is always greyed out

new sla goal -> "time from field" is always greyed out - mouse hover => 'field list is empty'

 

basically trying to get sla deadline to be end-of-business-day (either today or for X days)

 

also - when viewing issue in detail - confused about why there's 2 sla sections? "SLAs" section displays different times? (time to first response 1d and time to resolution 3d) vs the powerbox "SLA" sla graphic rectangle - active, spent 0s, remaining 8h

why 2 sections?

is that the jirasd built-in sla ("SLAs") and powerbox's is "SLA" ?

Hi,

Two sections are connected to separate code from Jira SD (standard SLA) and SLA PowerBox.

When you use only SLA powerBox SLAs you can disable standard section (please raise a support request and we'll guide you).

Time for Field option allows to create SLA based on individual (issue level) amount of time to meet SLA. This feature relies on defined custom fields (type numeric) and it's grayed when you don't have any numeric fields created.

For SLA based on days it requires considering edge conditions such as:

  • what happens when SLA goes on hold?
  • how to get end of working day?

Depending on answers to such questions you can use Date From Field or Time From Field goal.

Hi Robert,

thank you very much for responding ;) - i'm very new to this so apologies

also - i'm tasked with evaluating the entire jirasd & plugins - time close to expiration 

so if i understand then, the key to getting the end-of-day (or X days) 5pm is to define a custom field (type numeric) ?

i will google - but is there perhaps a quick doc link too? i did try to follow the powerbox sla page - but i might have done something wrong - no edge case just yet

also - too add i had TTS initially installed - but then disabled - did also disable standard section - by removing standard slas (time to res, time to 1st touch) - and as u mentioned it's blank ;)

but would really like to get the regular end of day (based on issue level) working ;)
