Adding Jira Core to existing account

Soni Belkin September 19, 2018

Hi,

I'm looking to add Jira Core to an existing account.  Like we already have an account for the business so I don't want to create a new account to use this tool.  I'm hoping there is a way to merge them.

Thanks in advance,

Soni

Hello Soni,

Are you using JIRA Cloud or Server?

If you are using JIRA Cloud, you only need to navigate to your Administration page > Discover new Applications and sign-up for JIRA Core.

Okay, I found it here.  It says we're signed up but now I don't know where to find it to use it.

Hello Soni,

Core it's the base of JIRA Application, where Service Desk and Software runs.

To create a JIRA Core project, you only need to select a project template that would use only the Core functionalities. e.g:

Project Management, Task tracking, Process control, Content management, Recruitment, etc

You're the best! I have been trying to locate this for the last 3 weeks.  Thank you so much!

With Server, you just need to get a Core licence for the users - Service Desk runs on top of Core, so it's already installed and configured.
