Anyone having a problem with the 2-factor authentication recovery code?

After clearing my browser cache, I had to use 2-factor authentication again. Since I just upgraded my phone, I couldn't use the authenticator app. So, I clicked on "Can't use your phone?" at the bottom of the page. I entered my recovery code and then from the drop-down list, copied the new code to the clipboard. Here's where the issue arose. The button to continue (after saving the code -- tried all 3 options) never got enabled. I had a colleague try on his laptop and browser and the same thing happened. We tried Chrome, Chrome incognito, and Firefox. And, we rebooted our laptops. We finally had to resort to deactivating 2-factor.

Hey Pat,

Are you authenticating with Google / G Suite? Looks like you already went through the G Suite troubleshooting steps and it didn't seem to work. If you are indeed getting stuck with Google's login screen, you could try reaching out on their support forum or contact their support directly if you're a G Suite administrator. Unfortunately we don't have much insight into any issues you might see on the G Suite side.
