Are custom fields considered deprecated?

With all the UI changes which ruin custom field configs, is it safe to say custom fields are now deprecated?

No they still exist and can be created and displayed in the new view. are there particular ones you are having issues with. While I am still adjusting to the new issue view, I certainly agree that there are some limitations that need to be addressed.
