Assign an issue to more than one person

Hey guys, 

I would like to know if there is a way to assign more than one person to an issue. 

I've seen that an option is to create subtasks but I do not feel comfortable doing like that. 

There is any add-on or solution to do that?

No, Jira is deliberately designed to avoid "I thought someone else was doing it", which means the assignee is the one single person currently responsible for the issue.

To represent some shared responsibility, add a custom field to contain many people, or a group picker.  But you should always have one person as the (ultimate single point of contact) assignee.
