Hey All,
I am still new here so sorry for maybe a simple question :) Ussing Classic Kanban.
I am trying to use Automation for first time and i used prepared Automation "When parent is done → move all sub-tasks to done"
I published it and it seems that it should work.
However if i move task to done, subtasks do not move to done automatically, and neither Automation in Task window do not find anything.. As my main goal is iF parent task is moved to DONE, all subtasks would move to DONE as well..
Should i edit this automation somehow or additional steps in workflow editing is needed?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!
Hi Elvina. I checked and indeed this rule does not work. It probably is because of the status field, you might have deleted the status linked to the condition (in the yellow block). I made some changes, so if you implement this it should work.
Hey Flavien,
thanks! that works well now,
i thought that it is a prepared template which should work already, but yes it might be that i edited our workflow previously so it got deleted from this template.
Appreciate Your help!

Hi Elvina,
Can you share the audit log for the rule when it fails? Your rule should work from what I see. although the actual value of the status looks weird.

Hey John,
thank for the answer.
I got an answer from Flavien which works. indeed my previous status value might be edited, thats why it was broken.
But i added " done" status everywhere and it works great!
thanks for support!
