Higher management at my firm is having a headache about people not logging timesheet in a timely manner.
Is there anyway to have an automation rule to report (send warning emails for example) on whether an user has logged enough time for a certain week?

Have you checked out the option to do this with the Tempo Scheduler?
The Tempo Scheduler offers the option to send reminder emails to users. It can be configured to send these emails weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
