Automation when a ticket is moved out of a fixversion within X days of the release

Problem: 

Our documentation team needs an automatic notification whenever a feature/improvement/bug is moved out of a release within X days of the fixversions.releasedate.

So far I have not been able to figure out a way to handle this automation, has anybody seen something similar to this or have any ideas as to how I might accomplish this?

So you could do this by having an automation that triggers when the Fix version field is updated, and then use a web request to Get version to get the release date and if it falls within x days send a notification to the team.
