Batching Email Notifications

We recently turned on bathing email notifications to help with the number of Jira emails that people get but we've run into an issue.

I've had it where it's doing the same update twice. So, once in a non-summary email, and then again in a summary email (either by itself, or properly grouped with like events). 

Has anyone else experienced this? Or how to resolve it?
