Can I automatically upload a change to a confluence page from Jira task?

I want to manage Confluence page updates using a Jira workflow. I already know jira can create new pages for knowledge base articles. This is not what I am looking for. I want to be able to create a draft of an existing page that will not be published until the approval task is complete.

The workflow would be:

1. Create a ticket  from the confluence page.

2. Use Jira workflow to track creating the draft, review, and approval

3. Automatically publish the update in confluence when the approval task is completed.

Is this possible?
