Can I bulk assign issues to one watcher?

Looking to assign a user to be a watcher a lot of issues at once. I know that there is bulk operations but I didn't see an option to assign someone else as a watcher.  Is there a way to do this?

ScriptRunner has a built in script that allows you to switch to a different user and you should be able use that to do the bulk edit and add that user to the watchers list.
