Can I have main projects and sub-projects under main projects?

So each subproject can have its own unique numbering keywords? Like

Main project - MP1 MP2 MP3

Subproject 1 - SPONE1 SPONE2 SPONE3

Subproject 2 - SPTWO1 SPTWO2 SPTWO3

Hey @Manivannan Sairam ,

Projects pretty much stand on their own and cannot be subdivided in to smaller projects.

Like @Jack Brickey says you could create a project issuetype or use epics. This however will not change the prefix on the issues.

What would be your goal for the main project? Just to follow up the smaller ones? Cause then it sounds like you would need to look toward Portfolio management.

Hi @Manivannan Sairam ,

not at the actual project level. However you might consider using epics within your project. Where the epic can be the sub project. With that said the project numbering will not be unique. Maybe if I understood more about your used case I might offer a different response.
