Can I make a read-only group the Default Access Group?

I don't know if this is essentially the same issue as https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ACCESS-604 but we have a group synced with our IDP and I want to make that group the DEFAULT ACCESS GROUP. That option is greyed out. Any way to do it?

Hey @Perry Tancredi

I hope you found a solution, if you didn't:

1. There's no way within Atlassian administration or their products to allow you to sync users into the default groups via SCIM. The best you can do is write some scripts using their organization APIs to achieve this.

2. We built an app to specifically address this issue, Admin Automations, it allows you to sync users from a SCIM group into a default group.

Hope that helps.
