Can I setup notifications in my Jira project to email a single address but using the "email field" of the individual issue.
This would be great if the email field is for a different person/customer than the actual reporter of the issue.
Hi @Riptide Helpdesk if the email is for a Jira user and you want the recipient to be potentially different for each issue then you can use a User Custom Field to specify the recipient and specify that field in the notification scheme. If it's one email for all issues in the project then you can specify an email as the recipient. Learn more here.
In order to use a text field that expects an email as it's content then you will need to use a notification add-on such as Notification Assistant for Jira (Server Only).
