Me and several others can't share filters from Edit button anymore.
I don't know when it stop working and if it affects all the users with global permission Create Shared Object.
The strange thing is that I can edit the permissions if I click on the filtername and choice Edit from that screen.
Screen 1 is showing my filter and when a push the edit button (screen2) I can't change anything. Before I have been able to change/edit permissions from that screen.
Screen 3 shows when I have clicked on the filter name. Inside here I can set/change the permission.
I only need to know if the first choice is not working any longer or if there are something wrong in our settings.
Screen 1 - Filter List
Here you are able to click the Edit button which will show you Screen 2
Screen 2 - View Filter Details
Besides the Name and the Description, you cannot change anything indeed. Therefore, you need to click on Details, then the pop-up window dialog box in Screen 3 will be shown
Screen 3 - Filter Details
In order to change the view/edit permissions, click on the Edit permissions link.
Screen 4 - Edit Current Filter
Here, select the Viewers/Editors and click + Add to confirm
Then, confirm again by clicking Save

Hi,
Are you able to share a screenshot to elaborate on what is happening exactly?
Which Edit-button do you mean? The Edit permissions link in the Details of the filter?
Does it concern Filters that are private now?
Can you change the owner from the link <jira-base-url>/secure/admin/filters/ViewSharedFilters.jspa ?
