Can we check the date and time if any custom field is updated?

Ruhi Tanwar July 28, 2021

Is there any possibility in Jira ServiceDesk Cloud?

If the custom field is updated or value changed then how to check the date and time, at which time the field's value updated?

Or

How to fetch the report of "custom field", at what time the field is updated or value changed?

Try using automation in conjunction with a custom field (CF Last Changed).

trigger - field changed

conditions - as needed to zero in on when to execute the action(s)

Action - set current date time into ‘CF Last Changed’

Hi @Ruhi Tanwar

My team has developed an app to monitor all changes that have been made in the selected list of issues. Check out Issue History. You'll get a history journal for every activity and find out:

  • What changes were made to the issues
  • The date when modifications occurred
  • Which user has made the changes

This info can be used for the audit of your teamwork. Hope you find it helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @Ruhi Tanwar ,

As an alternative you can use Status Time Free Jira app which by default displays status entry dates on each issue detail. But it can also display any other field change date too.
