Cannot choose Default Assignee

Hi,

I can't find the way to choose Default Assignee for the existing project. Where can I find this option? Screenshot attached.screenshot.PNG

Go to the project itself, then into the admin pane for it.  Find the "project roles" and follow the link to edit them.

You'll find project lead and default assignee at the top above the roles with edit pencils next to them.

Can only Project Lead be a Default Assignee?

No, you can use component leads or unassigned too.
