Changing Gadget Title & Adding Thru URL vs Subscription

I have following questions on gadget for Jira Server:

1) How to change the title that gets shown on each gadget (dont want to add a text gadget on top to display  text). For Eg: Instead of showing the gadget title as 'Sprint Burndown Gadget', I want the title to be, say:  'Project XYZ Burndown'. I understand we can show Board Name and Sprint name for this particular gadget, but my question is in general for all gadgets. Is this possible.

2) What's the difference between adding gadget thru URL vs Subscription. Whatever the explanation shown on the 'Manage Gadgets' page and document doesn't seem to make me understand the difference for some reason. Both seem to make the gadget available to users to add it to dashboard. If the difference is, we add the gadget to the server directory by using add thru' URL, why would we want to add it to our directory if we can achieve the same with subscription.

1. To change the name of a gadget, you will need to find a gadget that has code that allows you to set it.
2. None really, it's two different routes to do the same thing
