Comparing dates

Field "ETA date" and need to transition a ticket when the ETA date matches the current date- therefore moving the ticket to the next status

@Nash if they are both date fields you could use an automation to do this.  https://support.atlassian.com/automation/kb/comparing-issue-dates-in-jira-automation/ Your automation could run on a schedule (Daily) and check if any issues need to be transitioned and then transition them.
