Component Match for Parent in Related Issue Condition

Hello, I am trying to check to see if the parent of an issue matches a given component match condition.

Related issues:

Parent

Condition:

Matches Specified JQL

Matching JQL: 

(component in componentMatch("X") OR component in componentMatch("Y"))

 I cannot seem to pass this condition, could anyone offer any help?

Hi @tletz24 

Just to confirm, you are trying to use the componentMatch() function from the ScriptRunner addon in your automation rule condition.  Is that correct?

If you try that JQL stand-alone (outside of an automation rule), does it work as you expect?
