I am trying to get the create linked issue screen to appear as part of a workflow from jira service desk so I can create a corresponding development task in a jira software project, I had hoped to be able to to this as part of the transition from investigating to pass to closed/passed to dev.
However I cannot find the screen to transition to as its not one in the drop down list and I cannot locate it anywhere in configuration.
The create linked issue comes in the edit screen when you click the '...' along with the other non-workflow options.
I have checked the help but nothing seems to match.
Anyone done this?
Create / Clone issue(s) in the JMWE plugin will do the functionality you are looking for.
Hi Laura,
Could you please explain how exactly are you trying to achieve this?
If I had to do something like this my goto option would be a workflow post function.
I'm not sure if a post function to create linked issues is available in Jira out of the box however, so you might wanna check out various 3rd party addons which add this functionality.

Thanks Ivan, I tried the post functions already but hadn't thought about the addons, will have a go today and let you know if it works.
Appreciate the tip.
