Creation of Custom fields by Project Admin in Jira

Hi All,

We are trying to find an add-on which will give project admins the flexibility of creating custom fields in Jira, i don't see any add-on which suffices this for Data Center version.

Is there any specific reason for this why Jira doesn't have any add-on for the same.  Some way or the other Jira admin are involved in add-ons.

Any information provided will be really helpful.

Hi,

The fields can be created only by Jira Adminsitrator in the Clasic Projects.

You can try NextGen projects.

I don't think Nextgen is available for Data center as of now.
