Custom Field Type implemented by plugin , not available in project automation and also shows up as a cf type , being stored as a non standard way but I am just reusing
Hi @Rajit Kuthiala ,
Is it available every where else like in JQL and presented in Issues? If so, you may want to use JQL as you condition to match the value in your CF. This could help you work around it.
Hope this helps.
Hi @Benjamin JQL and searcher is working as expected , but it does not show up in action in project automation.
does jira block plugin implemented custom field for native use ? since it is also showing that it is stored as a non standard way , but it is not the case

Hi @Rajit Kuthiala ,
Got it. you are using action. sometimes CF does not show up on dropdown and you may need to use smart value in JSON.
This documentation should help you get around your issue.

Hi @Benjamin I understand there are workarounds for this and I am using it as well using the json smart value approach.
but any clue on making it support like native cfs , I tried indexing and code changes but no luck

I don't but for any plugin development...it maybe best to go to the Atlassian development community for insights from members who are doing things similar.
