I was looking for a custom field with data type as email. But could not find one. Is there a way we can add an email data type field that only excepts a valid email id by the user?

Hi @Ayush,

This field is not a standard part of Jira's Custom Fields list. Maybe some plugin offers this option, but unfortunately I don't know one.
