Custom Text Field Show IssueKey String as a hyperlink - this is not wanted

Hi

When adding a text like ABC-1200 into a simple text custom field 

and update,

the key become linkable and point to issue ABC-1200 page (which exists)

I do not want it to be a hyperlink but just a simple text

any idea?

Example :

Spec Readiness is a simple text CF

AS2-149 is a text entered there and also a Key of a valid issue 

when hovering over it you can see the hit of hyperlink in the left bottom side.

Hi @Avi Bachar I just tested it and it behaves as you describe. Field can have renderer set but Single line text can be configured only with

• wiki renderer
• default text renderer

But both of them render issue key as a link to the issue. The only solution that comes to mind is to implement custom renderer. I found this tutorial, however I dit not try it:

Yeah, just let me know if you need some help with it. I probably never wrote it too, but I have some experience with writing other modules for Jira Server/DC :)
