Defining edit permission for created field

Hello,

I created a date picker field called UAT'ye Veriliş Tarihi. When issue status transition Test status to UAT status, date information is been automatically uptadating this field. Thats why any user should not change the date manually. Can I give edit permission to only specific group for created field.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When it comes to permission, currently, if a user has permission to the project and to the ticket, they will be able to edit a field. There is no separate permission for each field.

There is a feature request suggesting improvements for that:

• Allow specific group of user to be able to edit only specific fields
