Hi,
Should it be possible to delete comment on closed issue?
I get the error message "Comment could not be deleted. There was a connection problem and the comment was not successfully deleted. Try checking your network connection".
Since I could delete a comment when the issue just was completed, I am not sure if there really is any connection problem, or if it is a strange error message that actually is due to status of issue.

Hello Catrine,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Testing on my local site, I wasn't able to replicate the same issue. Deleting comments on closed tickets should work normally, there is no configuration that prevents that.
With that said, I would like to ask you to open the developer tools on your browser while deleting the comment to check if it shows any other error that can help us identify what may be causing the issue.
Can you ask a teammate to try to delete the same comment just to confirm if the same issue happens with them?
Can you test using another browser?
Is it happening to next-gen or classic projects?
Regards,
Angélica
Hi Angélica,
No difference between browsers. Same result for colleagues and several classic projects .

Thank you for the details, Catrine.
Since you are using a classic project, I believe that this issue is related to a bug:
If the workflow is shared between projects, that's probably why it's happening to several classic ones.
Please, check the description of the bug and remove the "jira.issue.editable" property from the status in the workflow.
Also, click on "This affects my team" and watch the bug to receive future updates.
