Description lost while moving bulk tickets from one project to another

hi All

I need to move a very big number of tickets from a software project to service management project.  both are in the same cloud instance.

I perform a JQL search and select all the items i want to move and use the Bulk Change >> Move Issues option.  It asks about a multiple fields whether i want to update or retain the existing info.  I have selected to retain the info of the description field as well.

However, once the move is done, I am losing all info in the description field and it comes up blank.  All other information is being carried over without any issue.

Has anyone experienced this ? Is there something that i can do differently to avoid losing the information or any other available options in Jira to move issues from project to another.

Hi @Vamsi Krishna Panthulu I took a quick look at Atlassian's Jira site (jira.automation.com) and found this issue: JRACLOUD-78440 

That sounds to me the problem you are having.  I would suggest voting for and watching that issue for further updates on it.
