This may sound like a very odd request but there is method in my madness. We are in the process of moving Service Requests from ITSM to Jira SD and while we go through the process we want to direct users to the Jira SD landing page. If they then click on an SR that isn't fully implemented then that are redirected back to ITSM. I am hoping this eases some of the confusion while we migrate. So, I created a basic issue type to act as the placeholder for unimplemented SRs ...
but obviously I don't want the "create" button on this redirection notice as it gives users the opportunity to create an issue of this type. It would also be nice to hide the "Raise this request on behalf of" drop down as well if possible, We do have ScriptRunner but I cannot find the identifier for the button to hide it. I assume I should be using the "Hide UI Element" with a condition "issue.issueType?.name == 'My Issue Type'". Hope this all makes sense ...
Hi Florian,
Apologies but I never did find out how to do this.
John

Florian
