Documents add-on

Hey everyone, 

Does anyone know the server size limit for the JIRA documents add-on? Is there an archived period? Or can these documents be kept indefinitely?  Is this add-on available over cloud based JIRA? Or is it only available for JIRA server?

So, yes, there is a cloud limit for documents. On server, it's up to you: There is no limit set by Atlassian. There is not archive period on both products (Cloud & server). But if don't subscribe to cloud services anymore, your data will be purged after some time.
