Downloading Attachments from JIRA API using PHP

Unfortunately, scripts are unsupported  with os_username and os_passowrd.

$attachment_name ."?os_username=". $this->jira_user_name ."&os_password=" . $this->jira_password;

can anyone suggest an alternate solution if PHP scripts is available that would be highly appreciated .
