Hi, community members 👋🏼
I would appreciate it if you share your experience of remuneration automatic calculation in Jira.
The entire workflow of my company is organized in the Jira Cloud.
The time spent on tasks is recorded with the special add-on. Thus, you can calculate the amount per month: time for tasks x developer's rate = the sum per month.
Remains manual work on updating information: sick leave, vacation, compensation, advances, fines for one person or team.
Have you ever had working solutions that could automate this process in the Jira Cloud to get the already formed result at the output?
Thanks in advance for your answers! :-)
Hello Anton,
greetings. We are using Jira as a software management tool and currently we are trying out various HR tools incl. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Papayaglobal. The idea is to get international payroll function incl. country-specific compliance checks, benefits, Social Security (incl. MEDICARE) and tax reports for the authorities automated. Does Jira offer those functionality or does Jira allow implementation of HR software, e.g. SAP SF or papayaglobal?
Many thanks,
Best, Samuel
Working with payroll software can be a lot of fun. Especially if you know how to make the most of it. I would recommend using https://www.payrollindex.com/payroll-software/. There are several ways to use it to save time and ensure that your company operates in the most efficient way possible. The first one is to set up reports. While you might think that reports are boring, they are very important in ensuring everything is on track. Paycheck software can create them for you automatically, just as it will keep track of everything you need for payroll compliance and tax reporting. As a result, you won't have to waste valuable time creating these documents yourself.

Hi, @Samuel Schmidt!
Jira doesn't have such functionality.
What we want to do is the app for Jira, that will allow you to build payroll (spreadsheet with salary amounts) for all employees who track time in Jira, with the ability to automatically take into account overtime, part-time work, etc. And you could export this payroll to your accounting system or system that can provide worldwide compliance.
Will such an app be helpful for you?
If it will, I will be happy to get your inputs in terms of features to meet your requirements!

Hi, @Serhii Kibitkin_SAASJet_ !
We are currently working on such a solution. Are you available for a short call that we could discuss your use cases? So that we could take that into account in the product.
Plus, as a workaround, you could use another our app — Clerk Invoices. So you could use it for creating 'salary' invoices.
Thanks!
