I wish to limit access to a filter (actually a board based on that filter) to certain roles only.
However when having the filter permission set to Project, project name and then roles, the dropdown list show only 4 roles and not all the project roles. Unfortunately this role list does not include the role I wish to give the permission.
Any ideas?
Hi Hadas,
Place yourself in that project role or group and save that and then see if the role/group shows up.
So weird. I have to become the CEO, CTO and many other roles just in order to be able to filter for them their boards and transitions.
I wish I could meet your people and learn about the way they think. I have to understand the logic of it. What did they have in mind when they thought it will be right to make the site administrator sign into each group and role in order to be able to handle their permission.

Still a hassle, have to put myself in and then out.

I understand and agree. I think that Atlassian feels like this gives more security somehow.

I found another post that describes the same problem

It seems you will see only the roles to which you belong.
