Hi, I created a complex form for site analysis. It works great when I'm working on a laptop or desktop PC, but once I switch to Jira for Android, all my forms are opened as PDFs and it's impossible to fill out the form. Any ideas on how I can make the form accessible with a smartphone? I have a PDF JSM_Form.pdf file that opens every time I request access to my form
Hi @Michael Evrard ,
Atlassian's mobile apps only support a pdf read-only view for Forms at the moment. If you are open to using a third-party app, you can try Mobility for Jira. You can view, edit, and submit forms on iOS, macOS, and Android. Start by installing the app from the Atlassian Marketplace, there is a 30-day trial. After that, all users can use the app from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store without any charge. The bundle also includes an app for JSM Portal which also supports Forms.
You can check the user guide here: https://docs.mobilitystream.com/mfj/jira-issues#JiraIssues-Forms
Kind regards,
The Mobility Team
Hi @Michael Evrard ,
I'm afraid it might be an open suggestion at the moment.
I found this for you: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-14898
Please let me know if I misunderstand (did the functionality work before)?
I'm not a heavy app user for jira, so interested if this documentation is outdated or if the funtionality you want simply does not exist yet.
kr,
Tessa

Thank you for this research.
This is exactly the problem I'm having. I don't know if it worked before; I've been looking for solutions for two months now, but they clearly don't exist.
For now, I'm filling out the form on my laptop and adding the photos taken with my smartphone via my MS OneDrive Cloud. The goal was to fill out the form and take the photos on-site from the smartphone.

Are you accessing the form from the potal on your mobile or within JSM and are you using the Jira mobile app or using a browser on your phone?

Hi @Marc - Devoteam I'm trying to work with the form directly from the dashboard from the Jira For Android application

Are you using the latest version of the app, if Yes and you still have issues, raise a request at Atlassian Support.
Stat the version of the app you are using and the version of Android as well.
It could be a bug relating to the updated GUI.
