Gitlab triggers for Jira automation stopped working

Michelle Walton November 8, 2021

Hope someone can shed some light,

We setup Jira automation with Gitlab triggers which was working as expected for the last two weeks. Today however the Gitlab triggers are not working in that the rules that kick off with Gitlab actions (commit, PR or PR merged) are not triggering.

The audit logs show no activities for these actions taken in Gitlab, however the development pane of the Jira ticket is updated correctly.

Any idea why this would have suddenly stopped working without any Jira config changes? Rule actor is set to "Automation for Jira".

Hi @Michelle Walton -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I do not see any open incidents on the main status or automation status tracking pages for this symptom.

If your Gitlab and automation rule configurations have not changed, please consider submitting a ticket to Atlassian to take a look: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Kind regards,
