Adding a field to the closed workflow

Hello team,  I want to add a field in the screen when the engineer marks a ticket to closed or complete. How do I go about it ? 

I tried checking post functions but doesn't give me an option to add a field

Hello @gagan.gopi

Do you want a screen to pop up when then engineer clicks on the transition button and that specific field displaying on the screen?

In case I understood correctly, you would have to check the transition screen for the closed or complete transition and add that field to that screen.

If the transition screen is a commonly used one like the workflow or resolve issue screen you should better make a copy of that screen, add your field and then assign the new screen to your transition in the workflow. Otherwise, the new field would become relevant for all transitions the respective screen is used for and you would probably not want that.
