Hi everyone,
We're a little short of JIRA experience in house and are looking to expand it's use into the realms of test management, backlog management and also set up issue sync with our third parties.
We could do with some best practice as to how to setup JIRA for our different needs, so just wondering if the community can point us to any helpful resources?
Thanks

Des

Hi Desmond,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Based on other customer conversations for test management needs it is best to consider using 3rd party plugins that can integrated and added to Jira to add this functionality which is not native in Jira. You will find potential 3rd party plugins that your team can use to cover test management needs - Test Management plugins

As for backlog management and best practices, I would encourage you to go over our Agile pages

As for setting up issue sync with our third parties - need a bit more detail here on what 3rd party are you using etc. because this may involve using plugins developed by 3rd party team or if this option is not available maybe using API to integrate this 3rd party tools to Jira

I hope the following free trainings help you and your team get started in Jira

Jira Software Fundamentals and Jira Best Practices for Beginners

Lastly, try exploring Free Training valuable nuggets to help you and your team speed up in learning Jira and other Atlassian products.

All the best!

Theodore
