Hiden fields in Jira are reflecting as Required

Hello All,

If anyone can provide some insight on this. There are hidden fields that are showing up as required in Field Configuration. Is there a way to remedy it so that doesn't appear as so?

Any fields that are set to required in the field configuration will give you an error if they are not visible on the screen. So you would have to modify your field configuration to make the fields optional in the field configuration for it to work.

Field configurations and screens have nothing to do with each other.

If you set a field required in a field configuration, then it is required and your users will need to enter it.  A screen is a list of fields to show to users during an action.

In this case, you will have to make the fields available to the users on create issue, or make them optional.
