Jira Cloud. I would like to grant an existing user rights to invite and manage other users without giving them full site-administration access. I have added them to the admin group and given them "Trusted User" rights (which I thought was supposed to allow this). The user can now see "Site Admin" from the sidebar chicklet but when selected, getss an "Access Denied" screen. Additionally, if the user selects Confluence and then selects "People" from the chicklet icon, they see "User Management" as an option at the top left of the resulting people screen...but when selected, again gets the "Access Denied" screen.
Can anyone clarify what I'm missing or mis-configuring here?
Thanks in advance!
They are. They are setup as the role "Trusted User" and are part of the following groups: administrators, confluence-users, Jira-administrators, Jira-servicedesk-users
Best practice: never have too many Atlassian Admins. It can create a chaos.
