How can I prevent custom field short text to display as an URL?

I have some custom fields that are short text type. In some scenarios I need to write email address or a pattern that includes "@". This causes the data on the field to be treated as a link and I don't want, I want as plain text, I have URL custom fields for that. Is there a way to remove this from the custom field short text?

Hmm, have you tried to use the "plain text" renderer with that field? That may worth a try.

I don't think there is - it's a native function I believe.

I tried various methods...

• hello@hello.com
• @hello
• .@hello
• !@hello
• @hello@hello

...but all became links.

I would recommend looking for a feature request for this - it might relate to JRACLOUD-72429, but if not, you could raise a new feature request via: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
