I have recently added JIRA Service Desk to my cloud JIRA and Confluence instance. The JIRA Service Desk agents do not have a license for JIRA Software intentionally but they can see issues and even change them, which is what I want to prevent. I don't want the service desk agents to be able to make any change to a JIRA Software issue. I only want them to see the issues and the boards. I tried adding permissions under the default software scheme but I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the application access for any logged-in user that is already there. please check the Permissions For the JSW project. I believe you will find that the JSD Agent is in a role or group that has permissions to Browse/Create/edit.
