How can I set a custom field (user picker) to the component lead

I have a need to set 2 custom fields both are "User Picker" type fields.

 I would like one to be the "Component Lead", the other to be the "Component User" both of these fields are from the "Component Watcher Plugin". 

Is this possible using the JIRA Automation plugin, I'm trying to stay away from using scriptrunner if possible.

Can you tell me if it is possible to set a User Picker custom field with the Component Lead?

I would imagine that the data within the "Component Watcher" add-on is not available to field or other add-ons.
